Upcoming Services

Sunday, February 11 – Impedimentia (On Being Stuck)
Whether it’s habitual procrastination, the age of overwhelm, or post-pandemic bewilderment of “where do we go from here?” it’s all too easy to find oneself stuck in place — or moving, but in a rut. What are the merits, though, of going fallow?

TODAY after the service: Potluck
… and budget conversation: a time to share a meal and also an opportunity for an informal conversation – soliciting your input as we begin crafting next year’s budget

All UU Need is Love – BUF Auction Saturday, February 11, 4:30-7 PM
Mark your calendars for this lively all-BUF community event. Your $20 ticket includes access to silent and live auction, Beatles-themed entertainment, appetizers, and two raffle tickets for the prize of your choice. Sixties dress encouraged but not required!

  • Event and Raffle Tickets are on sale after the service.
  • There is no online bidding this year. Bidding will only occur at the Feb 11th event.
  • Raffle Items are in lobby – you don’t have to be present to win!
  • Paddle Call for Sanctuary Chairs
  • To see auction items visit http://togetherauction.com/buf
  • Can’t be there in person? Ask a BUF friend to bid for you!

The goal for the auction is $20,000 (not including the very important paddle call to raise money for new sanctuary chairs). This ambitious goal can be reached if as many BUF members attend the auction as possible and bid generously on the wonderful items and events on offer. Can’t come to the auction? Buy raffle tickets, purchase a chair or ask a friend to bid for you.

Note from Rick (Vlad) – Canvassers needed!
