On Saturday the 19th
Come Pick up your candles for the Christmas Eve service and enjoy a little Christmas Spirit at BUF from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
We invite everyone to bring your A Guest at Your Table donation to the church and stay for a few minutes to add a handprint and message to everyone you miss at BUF on a mural we are creating outside.
We’ll have Christmas lights up, music playing and some hot cider and home baked cookies to warm you up as you stay socially distanced. Even though we can’t gather together as usual, we can connect in a meaningful way through our community mural, donating to the good work of the UU Service Committee, and getting some traditional candles to use in the Christmas Eve candlelight service.
On Sunday the 20th
Ten Thousand Villages
We have two Fair Trade events, again in the afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. BUF Fair Trade will be there, selling coffees, teas, chocolates, etc. at special prices. These items make great Christmas gifts. Chocolate bars will be 3/$10 until the end of the year. We have a full case of Ground Breakfast Blend Coffee that expired the beginning of this month. They are usually $9/bag but until the case is gone they will be 2/$15 or 4/$28.
Also, we will be supporting Fair Trade with quarterly purchasing options with 10,000 Villages. Cleo Richard will be coordinating this.
Christmas lights, music playing, Christmas Eve candles and you can also drop off your GAYT donation.
