As part of BUF’s efforts to better bring news and information to the congregation, BUF News will be changing the way it is delivered. 

Starting Monday, December 22, BUF News emails will be sent out through Breeze in the same way MWU emails are sent. It will be regularly sent out on the morning of Monday and Friday, with time-sensitive posts on the days in between. As a general rule no more than one BUF News email will be sent out on any given day.

Those who wish to post to BUF News will submit their post (similar to MWU) to be included in BUF News emails. There will be a submission form on the website prior to December 22 or one can submit to news@buf.org. 

Moving away from the BUF-News List-Serv does take away the ability of people of the congregation to engage in conversations. As we move to the new web site in early 2026, BUF will look at the need to set up and manage a message board that will allow for conversations between those of the congregation. 

On BUF’s new web site that will be rolled out in early 2026, there will be the opportunuty for website blogs managed by those who want to communicate around specific areas of interest.
