The congregation-elected Board of Trustees is ultimately responsible for governance by creating policy and long-term strategy. This is accomplished by the Board or Committees of the Board, which often include non-elected volunteers. Meetings are generally held once a month and Meeting Minutes are published.

Our organizational structure is made up of five major Councils (teams):

  • Administration
  • Ministry
  • Community Within BUF
  • Community Beyond BUF
  • Growth and Learning

Led by the Minister and a representative from the Board, representatives from each of the Councils form our Operations Team. This team is responsible for carrying out the intentions of the Board.
