A thousand thousand years ago, at the dawn of human history, our ancestors made fire their ally, using it for cooking, warmth, and light. Certain tribespeople emerged as keepers of the flame – those who reverently carried precious embers from one campsite to the next for the common welfare. A new sort of reverent care is needed to navigate this time between worlds.
